Food or in your case water poisoning.
You could have "traveller’s diarrhea", which is enterotoxigenic E. coli. That’s the most common cause of diarrhea worldwide. However, if you got it from a hot tub, chances are you caught hepatitis A or just about anything else under the sun. You likely did not get sick from drinking water in China - you probably got sick from drinking hot tub water, which other people have sat in.
Even if it is hepatitis A, it should resolve on its own. Hep A is the only hepatitis that is short-lived and goes away on its own. However, whatever you have is going to be contagious so be very careful to wash your hands very thoroughly after you go to the bathroom.
If the diarrhea and abdominal pain does not clear up in a few days you should see a physician. Also, if you notice any abnormalities in your general health you should see your general practitioner when you return from China. It may be a good idea to go see them regardless.
