Strangely enough many women have loose stools just as they miss their period.
It happened to me with both my pregnancies and I have come acrosss many other women who have said the same thing.
I heard it could be something in the prenatal pills. It is most likely the iron in the pnv’s if you´ve taken them.Diarrhea can also be a sign of increased progesterone.
I took Imodium to stop the diarrhea which stopped me from going to work for 2 days due to weakness of the limbs.
Hope you get better!!!
As far as i understand diarrhea is normal in the early stages of pregnancy, and the pain is too, as long as it isnt a constant stomach cramp you should be okay. alot of pregnant women get really constipated right after their very loose stools finish!
hey, i have diarrhea with my period, so i can imagine any hormonal flux can do that to you!
its normal, pregnancy really does a number to your body. especially with the gas and farting bit….my husband was grossed out at first but quickly got used to it. like i could help it.
check out the link below…..i have found them so so useful with my first pregnancy and am beginning to find them useful again this time round as well (am 6weeks + 3days :D)
baby centre is a mind of information for any expecting mum, i hope you fiind them helpful
Very normal hun, dont worry I have IBS and the constipation I get is bad then I get diarrhea for about 2 days straightis the worst I have ever had it and the wind etc is also normal. I saw the midwife today and she said its very normal and gets less in most cases (probably notmine as I have IBS) in the 2nd trimester
Totally normal. Register with BabyWeekly.com. It’s free and they will email you every week during your pregnancy, about what to except and what to look forward to. It’s great because it’s very detailed, and the emails continue about your BABY after they are born, you know like growth and milestones to watch. Good luck, and Congrats!!
i did with mine, in fact it was one of the first things i had togehter with flu like symptoms, when it went on for a while i discovered i was pregnant. with each pregnancy i also had the same symptoms.
