Digestive system health

As to my experience with digestive system health, I would say that a person can only take care of himself. This issue of one’s health and especially digestive system health is a mere mirror of one’s attitude towards his mental and physical health. All begin in one’s mind, then goes to the rest of the body’s organs. I would put it in different words: when it comes to one’s physical and mental health, first thing is to understand they are walking hand in hand, the second one is planning your health ahead, and I don’t speak of health insurance of any kind, only the natural type.

As far as I see that, digestive system health starts with right nutrition. Some of us eat health food and have balanced nutrition as a costume derived from home, from mom’s and pup’s habits and education. These people, who are many of us, just got well educated regarding this manner. They eat regularly, in specific and fixed hours, they have the habit of eating small portions, another beautiful habit is eating only one type of food group each meal: protein or Carbohydrates, not to mix the one with the other. This avoids the stomach to work harder than it has to.

Now to the biggest group, the one that can control its eating habits better. This group is made of many people who are derived a little more by their emotions than by physical needs such as hunger, tiredness or thirst. It also does not contain people who function regularly by plan, but this is a really small group [I mean the planners]. So what can we, the emotional, do? We can connect food and eating habits to love and to real needs, we can ask ourselves, each time we go to the fridge and open it, better one step before the door is opened: “am I hungry?”  Asking that simple question is a big step towards health, especially the digestive system’s one.

Digestive system diseases

My story is that during in the year 2001 I spent fourteen days in three different hospitals because of digestive system diseases. I can tell you something none of you would like to hear: the modern medicine doesn’t know how to cope our internal pains and diseases, it can only guess.

This I tell you by real experience. The first time was when I was close to complete my academic studies. For four years I learned mathematics and when my time for final exams arrived I was close to break down, it really was a tensed time for me.

One day, when my wife was abroad I woke up with a stomach ache. I am used to have some small pains here and there but this pain was bothering, and it wouldn’t stop for three days, day and night.

At last I went to a hospital. It took six hours until I was examined and then I got to sleep. As hours passed by I figured out the doctors gave no diagnosis, so I was told to stay there and rest. Three days passed in pain and weakness and my wife came back from abroad. That she will never forget. Since then, eight years passed and she still remembers the smell. Being in such pains I did not take care of myself and the staff forgot me. I was left dressed in bed, not cleaned and not taken to the shower, it was a stench.

The end is good on one side, not so good on the other.

As she came she pulled me right away from that hospital and we went to another one. There I was well cleaned and treated. Never the less, also there no one had found what I was suffering of. They could only assume a kind of  digestive system diseases, I got to know the reason just many months later.

i have a science exam coming up soon and i just cant get my head around the circulatory System, mainly the parts of the heart. was Just wondering if there is an easy way to remember the parts of the heart.

thanks :D

Explain how the circulatory system transports nutrients and oxygen to cells and removes cell wastes.
Describe how the kidneys and the liver are closely associated with the circulatory system as the perform the excretory function of removing waste from the blood. Recognize the kidneys remove nitrogenous wastes, and the live removes many toxic compunds from blood.

I have a science question that i need help with.
List at least 5 of the substances that the circulatory system transports.

I just need a 2-3 sentence answer!

Thanks!

How does an increase in pulse rate during exercise exemplify how your circulatory system helps to maintain homeostasis in a body?

hey i need help i have a science project due and i need a visual aid for the Excretory and Circulatory system. and it is due next week.

P.S i wish i had my old teacher from last year he was the best :’( Mr. Corbett

The primary threat to life when the circulatory system is damaged is:

a. lack of oxygen to vital tissues
b. loss of blood and nutrients
c. irregular heartbeat
d. broken blood vessels

According to the Centers for Diseases Control (CDC) Heart disease is the leading cause of death in both men and women in the United States. What factors contribute to heart disease? How do these factors affect the circulatory system?

Could you please list the route of the circulatory system!!! ex: right atrium—>right ventricle—>??? Please fill in the rest until it goes back around to the right atrium!!! And if you could, tell me what each one does!!! PLEASE!!! Thanks in advance!!! It needs to be done by tomorrow!!!
or just list a site where I can find all the information I need!

umm just the circulatory system in general?

i need to know what is themain organ of a circulatory system

What type of circulatory system do humans/other vertabraes have?

just incase there IS somebody int the Biology section and knows….

If you answer "I don’t know, "Google it", or "Check wikipedia", I will hunt you down and pull your hair out…

I was thinking about what i learned in science today, and have a question. please only serious answers only and only if you know its true, idont want to learn false info.
How do the respiratory system and circulatory system work together to provide nutrients to tissues and remove waste from tissues. this isnt homework or anything, it is just a problem that popped into my head. thanks for your time!

I want to know if heart disease only affects the circulatory system. If there is anymore systems please tell me… or provide links to a webpage with the information.

1. The vessels in our circulatory system that allow molecules to diffuse across to tissues are
a. arteries
b. veins
c. capilaries
d. lymph vessels
e. venules

2. After leaving our left ventricle, blood next passes through the
a. vena cava
b. aorta
c. atriventricular valve
d. semilunar valve
e. left atrium

It is based on the circulatory system in your body.

Also if you say there are 4 and you include lungs as one of the parts of the circulatory system you are wrong.

Trace a drop of blood throughout the body’s circulatory system starting at the right atria and returning to the right atria.

Please Help! - Name the cellular component of the circulatory system which is involved in oxygen transport?
Thank you!

I’m doing a cells project, and I need to know how the molecule goes through the digestive and circulatory system.
Like first goes into the mouth, then…what, i don’t know.

Please give details

Can I have a little bit of information on the frogs circulatory system? It would be most appreciated if someone had some information into WHY a frog has a 3-chambered heart (if there is a reason). Sorry I originally posted this in Homework Help but no answer for 40 minutes :( Can anyone here help?

The approximate inside diameter of the aorta is 0.48 cm; that of a capillary is 8 (mu)m. The approximate average blood flow speed is 1.1 m/s in the aorta and 1.1 cm/s in the capillaries.

If all the blood in the aorta eventually flows through the capillaries, estimate the number of capillaries in the circulatory system.

im takin an EMT course and im having a hard time learning the circulatory system and its important for me to learn it. is there any good websites that show and explain it well? thank you.

What role do the lungs play in the circulatory system?
to the 4th answer.
uhm i already KNOW that the lungs are in the respiratory system. don’t you know.. lungs play a role in the circulatory system? anyways thanks to everyone else who answered :) i got it now!

how does smoking affect the respiratory and circulatory system?

It needs to be in the same organ system such as, The Nervous System, The Digestive System, The Circulatory system. It can’t be the reproductive system though. Please list at least two diseases that are in the same system that affect teenagers or younger kids. thank you. and i more likely want it to be a rare disease. +10pts to best answer!!!<3

List the order the parts of the circulatory system that blood travels through starting at the vena cava.

List the functions that your circulatory system, made up of your heart, blood vessels, and blood, does to help keep you alive. Explain how oxygen and nutrients get delivered to the body’s cells….

and why does a double circulatory system need a four chambered heart? please i need this this for my homework :) thank you for answering

I need to know what diseases that can affect the Circulatory System.
I’m doing a project and I need to know .

Thankss

Atherosclerosis is a disorder in which deposits of cholesterol and fatty acids collect on the inner walls of the arteries. How does this disorder affect the circulatory system?

I need to know 2 systems that work with the Circulatory system (Cardiovascular System) i already have the Lymphatic. & i was stuck but i was leaning toward the respritory system.

I need an idea on a science fair project related to the circulatory system. I need it by today!!!!!! HELP!

If the blood is composed mostly of water, what would that mean?

Im doing a powerpoint presentation on the Excretory system, and i have to know how the circulatory system helps. Does anyone know?!

What are the long term affects on the circulatory System that you get from exercise. Please add websites if the needed infromation is on it.
Thanks

I have to write an anatomy and physiology paper. The topics I choose the reproductive systems (male and female) and the circulatory system. We have to write how they function and how they work together. Well DUH I know how they all function and how the male and female reproductive systems work togehter, BUT not how the circulatory system falls into place.

I’m supposed to make a list of the major system of the body and list the functions of the major organs. Anyways, I started to wonder if the cardiovascular and the circulatory system were considered the same thing or if cardiovascular was mostly heart and the circulatory was mostly vessels and such.

i.e. squid & octopus have closed circulatory system
and clams and oysters have open circulatory systems.

How are the lymphatic system and Circulatory system related?

I needed to know how the Lymphatic System and the Circulatory System worked together.

Can someone give me a 4-5 sentence explanation as to the relationship between the respiratory and the circulatory system? Please and thank you!

can u please tell me wat the circulatory system does for the body, which diseases affect it, if any, how to care for it, and any other information you can find. And please list your sources.

I thought maybe the fact that Oxygen is spread in the circulatory system has to do with it…idk thought. Please Help!

My daughter’s period is very heavy this month. (As in tampon changes every 15-30 minutes for 2 days) I don’t understand where all this blood is coming from. Has it collected in her lining over the course of the cycle, or is it coming from blood directly in her circulatory system? The doctor is more concerned with anemia than blood loss, but I’m a mom, I can’t help but worry! Thanks for all replies!

I need to do and essay about how the circulatory system work with the respiratory system to maintain homeostasis I need to describe how the heart works as a pump and include function of red blood cells, plasma & platelets.
Also I need to answer how does breathing play a role in the respiratory system. Please help me or give tips or at least a website where they might help me.

Hi I have a report due tomorrow about the circulatory system and was wondering does anybody know any good and bad activities for the circulatory system? And can you give why thanxs so much

how do the immune system and the circulatory system work with eachother?

my science homework is to compare the circulatory system to two things, like a road. Basically an analogy. I am not sure what things i can compare to. I have thought thave several things but my analogy has to compare the heart, veins, arteries, capillaries, and blood. Thank you for your help!

The title says it all, this is not for a test or homework, I am simply curious as to why our circulatory system has advantages over a closed system.

I thought the lymphatic system worked similar to the circulatory system, but our instructor told us that it is actually part of the circulatory system. In other words, according to the instructor, the spleen, lymph nodes and immune system basically fall under the circulatory system. This doesn’t sound right to me? Can someone explain?

I have a project to do about how the circulatory system is important in some specific physical activity, and i chose yoga.
links to info websites would be good.
thanks!

Why is the circulatory system described as a closed system? I need it for my HW.

Can you tell me if this sounds right? This is my answer: The heart pumps the blood away from the heart into the circulatory system to which it enters the pulmonary capillaries which oxygenates the blood. He blood completes a circle around the body and makes it way back to the heart where it happens all over again. The heart pumps the blood away from the heart into the circulatory system to which it enters the pulmonary capillaries which oxygenates the blood. He blood completes a circle around the body and makes it way back to the heart where it happens all over again. Without the circulatory system the cardiovascular system would not have blood to pump throughout the body.

Thanks so much! This is for a life science class that I am having a hard time with. You both helped me sooooo much!!! Thanks!!!!

Okay I am in grade 9 and i am doing a project on the circulatory system. I have the basic info but i want something more but i cant find anything…. any help would be appreciated but nothing I wouldnt understand…. dont forget i am only in grade 9!
thx

homework help?

help me please.

Suggest the possible advantages of the design of the mammalian circulatory system over that of a fish.

I am doing Bio homework and am supposed to outline/trace the circulatory system of a crayfish. I just need a brief discription of how it all happens.

how do the circulatory system, respiratory system and digestive system function together and how do they meet in the body?

I would really like to know the answer to this question. I have checked myself and have yet to discover a detailed answer.

thank you very much.

I am doing a project worth quiet a bit of my grade. I need to explain a connection between those as well as these questions. How are the respiratory and Circulatory system related, and How is the respiratory and digestive system related.

Or any Connection you can think of for Animal Anatomy and Physiology. Any help would be great. Thanks

1) why do you need a transportation network inside your body?

2) Name at least three substances brought into the body that are transported by your circulatory system.

3) Where is each of these substances being taken by the blood?
