And or idigestion?
At what stage or pregnancy did you get it?

I had nausea and vomiting about 1-2 times per evening for the first 4 months of my pregnancy. Then i was ok. Now it seems that at 32-33 weeks my vomiting has returned combined with heartburn (thats why i am up at this time!!).

Is this normal? I am quite badly constipated - going about every 2-3 days - could that be causing this vomiting?

(This is my 2nd pregnancy - in my first i had nausea for almost the whole 9 months throughout but almost no vomiting at all. )

it’s been happening more and more since i was 26 weeks. i have had it all day. it’s so bad it’s making me sick.

is there anything i can go out and buy in a normal shop or chemist that is safe to take in pregnancy that will help?

(tomorrow when the shops open)
just to remind everyone, i am a vegetarian so i can’t take pills containing gelatin.
i am in the UK.

i have bad constipation and when I poo it really hurts and quite a bit of blood comes out, not every time i go to the loo but every so often when it is tougher to pass a stool. It is a real bright red blood.

Also my bum has been very itchy too. I never had this sort of thing with my 1st pregnancy. Will it go away after having the baby? Do any piles creams etc work?

Please help any people who have had the same problem during pregnancy?

Thanks!

Thanks

I was only saying the other day I’ve been lucky not to have any digestive issues at all this pregnancy - that’ll teach me!

36 weeks and counting #1 ;-)

(I’ve already tried Rennie Chews and peppermint tea, the tea was better but neither great!)

I have recently got over a cold and still have the cough, could this have anything to do with it?
I don’t eat any fried food and make sure that I don’t eat too late before going to bed. Last night the pain was so bad that I only slept for 2 hours. Any advice would be really welcome as apart from that I’ve had a perfect pregnancy.

I have termenous heartburn during my pregnancy. I am 6.5 months pregnant and my heartburn is getting the best of me. Is there anything that anyone recommends that can ease my heartburn. I would be truly grateful if I can get some advice.

This is for a science project on digestive diseases. I had finished my project on peptic ulcers but then I found out someone else in the class had chosen the same disease so the teacher told us that one of us had to choose something else. The other person had only printed out some stuff from the internet. I was the unfortunate one who was told to do my project on another disease. A bit unfair don’t you think?
Anyway…

1. What are the causes of celiac disease? I know that it’s genetic and even though some people may not show symptoms, it can be triggered by stress, pregnancy, surgery, infection, serious injury, childbirth, etc. but is there anything else which can cause it?

2. Are there any treatments for it apart from avoiding food containing gluten altogether (which is more a method of prevention than treatment) ?

These two points are the parts of my project I am unsure about.
Thanks in advance :)
