upto what age are nappies during the night for diarrhea acceptable?
If a child has quite bad diarrhea it is fine to have them sit on or near the toilet all day but at night this is inpractical.
If the child wears a nappy to bed then it saves the parents the hassle of cleaning messy sheets and allows the child some sleep (needed if your immune system is to recover.)
I know of lots of parents who do this with younger children (5 and below.)
But at what age does it become unacceptable to put a child in a nappy for this reason?
6, 8, or mabye older?
What do you think?

In the circumstances you describe there should be no age limit!
any age below 8
If you ever get Cryptosporidia you will want one yourself… if you need one you need one…. I hope you never get that… it is HELL on Earth… it is truly the s**ts
i dont think i would put one on even on my 3 year old she would just get so upset. i think you just have to take your chances i think id get a matres protector and cross my fingers.
get the kid to a doctor……
The better question is, why is the child HAVING diarrhea in the first place; that needs to be addressed.
any age i love to see an older kid with a thick nappy slaped beween there legs and to run my finger in to the nappy to se the mess
