Try these home remedies to get rid of constipation:
Soak raisins in a glass of water overnight. Drink the water in which raisins are soaked along with the soaked raisins early in the morning.
Soak six prunes in a glass of water overnight. Eat three of each in the early morning. Then, in the late afternoon, an hour or two before dinner, eat the remaining prunes.
Take at least 350 grams of grapes daily
Eat a medium-sized pear after dinner or with breakfast.
Drink a glass of hot water with sour lime juice and half a teaspoon of salt.

Eat bananas, works for me
Lots of grapes are good. Drink lots of water - make sures shes getting the 8 glasses a day. No stodgy foods whatsoever til its cleared.
Prune juice, dried prunes or dried apricots. But just try a little bit at first and don’t try all at once!
exercise is good to get things moving.
peppermint tea
liquirice,
orange juice
sweet potato.
Lots of fresh fruits…or some pure orange juice or prune juice. GL
Two excellent solutions here, First, if you haven’t tried it before drink pure orange squash. Second, slice and chop a few onions and boil with a spoonful of salt and make onion soup. Make sure you have a good fan in the room after eating, you have been warned.
Eat lots bananas.
Prunes.
Water.
Fibre.
Drink prune juice, but make sure you’re near a bathroom for obvious reasons!
My daughter had the same problem before. Doctor suggested to eat prune or drunk prune juice, and make sure the food she eat contents a lot of fiber. It helps. Also we learned, from time to time, eating more fruit helps too, like strawberry, apple, grape, etc. Good luck. Hope this helps.
The 1st thing is to drink plenty of water, not tea, coffee, coke but water, at least 2 litres a day, brown bread, brown pasta, brown rice, plenty of fresh fruit and vegetables, don’t eat ‘fast food’ e.g. burgers, KFC, any of that rubbish!
But you may need to resort to a gentle laxative to get things moving in the 1st place.
If you want a really honest answer a lot of these suggestions work but they are only temporary i have sufferd with constipation all my life and can go for a week without the toilet I think a lot of it is heredatry
Up her roughage, plenty of vegetables and oranges or orange juice should help
Allot depends how old she is. Have her eat an apple or drink a glass of apple juice.
