foods that are high in fibre are good for digestion as it absorbs water and keeps your waste bulky and soft so it is easier to pass
make sure that you drink more water if you increase your fibre otherwise you could end up constipated
plenty of wheat/oats/grains, fresh fuits and vegetables, beans and pulses are all good sources of fibre
bran flakes
Porridge,bran,fruit
That all depends on what the problem is. The digestive system is pretty extensive.
To improve matabolism-things with a little spice to them
To keep from having UTI’s-cranberry and blueberry
To ease defication-anything high in fiber, oats, broccolli, bran, prunes
fruit,veggies,yogurt and water
That question has no one answer, everyone is different…
General rules try to avoid white sugar/corn syrup
Cut back on sugar
Try to avoid white flour
More whole grains (make sure low in sugar)
cut back on high oil
lean meats, eggs okay
Some ppl have trouble with these so if u r having trouble, test these seperately, a few should be plenty of time. Do not eating these:
Milk / dairy
Chocolate
Soy
bananas
soda/carbonated drinks
Still having trouble try to take these items off your diet for a week
Wheat (you can still eat other grains)
No grains (still eat rice)
No Corn
One thing that has really helped me is just to buy a multi-digestive enzyme from the health food store. And take it every day.
Also papaya, pineapple, etc are said to help.but they were not strong enough for me. So I ended up having to take the enzymes in a pill. But if you would like some tips you may want to watch this video on Youtube. It’s a bit boring but a lot of good tips! Good luck! Take Care!
anything with fiber in it i like cracklin oat bran in cereal isle
You didn’t state in which direction your problem is. If you have a tendency for constipation and/or gassiness then you need elevate the amount of liquid intake, 8-10 glasses of water a day, less soda (you don’t need the gas) and products with caffeine, more foods high in fiber, less products made from white flour, white sugar, about 2 fresh fruits a day and plenty of fresh vegetables, green leafy ones are great, about a tablespoon of olive oil a day, cammomile and/or fennel tea is very calming for the digestion in general. Less red meats and fried foods, more poultry and fish, baked or cooked, add cooked vegetables too, veggie soup is great too.
If you have a tendency for irritable bowels or the runs, ease up on the fresh fruit and vegetables, stay away from white flour/sugar, more cooked foods, ease up on spices and salt, stay away from products with caffeine, dairy products may cause problems too.
Taking acidophylus pills (spelling?) is very advisable. They’re great for adding to the "good bacteria" in your digestive track. Ask at your health food store or pharmacy.
Bottom line is, if you have a serious problem, these suggestions can help, but first and foremost, you need to speak to a doctor who might send you to a clinical dietician, so your diet is supervised and perfect for you.
Good luck and feel better!
Yogurt. Just the plain or fruited stuff from the case helped me a whole bunch with my irritable bowel syndrome, slowed things down a bunch.
If you want to try the fancy stuff with the L. caseins imunity [forgive my spelling] for irregularity fine, go right ahead. A friend went that route, and got results.
But be patient, it takes it awhile for it to really start working.
Fiber for good bowel health.
A good balanced diet for good bowel health.
Adequate water intake.
Anything with fibre.
