What is the best method of contraception with IBS?
I have really bad IBS and therefore the pill is not efficient enough for me so i cannot rely on this. I have just had my 2nd jab for the injection but i am having trouble shifting the weight i put on and it is getting me down now. Any suggestions? Please help?

As far as I am aware IBS does not affect absorption of the pill which passes into the circulation from the stomach and small bowel, rather than the large bowel. I have never heard it suggested that IBS is therefore a contraindication to the pill! If you are concerned however you have limited your choices significantly, the only one I can see that you have left yourself is a coil.
